Loss touches every life. Healing should, too.
We believe that grief support should never be a privilege reserved for the few. Our scholarship program—funded by generous donors and compassionate community partners—helps remove financial barriers so that individuals, families, and caregivers can access:
Grief Retreat Scholarships at Luma Via
Grief Education Training Scholarships for our practitioner training
We welcome all backgrounds, all stories, and all identities.
Your grief, your voice, your path—it matters here.
Why We Offer Scholarships
Grief is universal—but access to grief care is not.
Many people navigate loss alone. Others want to deepen their knowledge, serve their communities, or become grief educators, but finances stand in the way.
Our mission is simple
To build a more grief-literate world—one person, one family, one community at a time.
Support individuals in acute grief
Train future grief guides and facilitators
Empower caregivers, teachers, and healers
Provide tools for communities that lack grief-support resources
Ensure equity and accessibility in grief education
Scholarships help
This is how we transform the world—quietly, compassionately, one story at a time.
